Offered is a 1939 Rose Bowl college football game collection of 3 items, and the items include an original program, ticket & an advertising broadside for the Rose Bowl parade & game. The football game program is from Jan.
2, 1939, when Duke played against USC at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA , and the program is complete with no loose or missing pages, with players from both teams are pictured throughout. The program has some minor creasing & minor edge wear, the score is written on the center page, and the program has great eye-appeal. The ticket is crease-free, but it has a faint paper clip indent & a tiny surface scuff in the top border from it, and the back is clean. The cardboard advertising broadside for the parade & game measures 11" x 14", there is a corner chip (top left), along with some staining, and the display piece is framed & will assume that it is adhered to the mat board, as I didn't have it framed.
